Night Library: Read Short Stories Built From Your Own Notes
A library after closing. Vera, the night librarian, won't shelve a book nobody has read. Each book on her cart is a short illustrated story written from one part of your notes, set in its own world, and the people in it explain what they know before the story stops at one of your questions.

About Night Library
Night Library takes place in a public library after closing. Vera, the night librarian, is putting the day's returns back on the shelves, and she has one rule: you can't shelve a book you haven't read. Each book on her cart is a short illustrated story written from one part of your study material.
Every book is set in its own world: a sailing ship, a small town in the rain, a mountain expedition, a city at night or an old royal court. You have a small part in the story, and the people in it know your material because their work needs it. A navigator explains latitude because she needs it to reach the harbour. Then the story stops at a choice, and the choice is one of your own questions.
A right answer moves the story on. A wrong answer turns to a short side scene where someone explains it another way, then the story carries on. Questions you missed come back on a folded corner page before the book ends.
Finished books go onto your shelf in the reading nook, and the nook changes as your shelf fills: a blanket on the armchair, a reading lamp, a fern, a teapot, a cat. Your place in a book is saved, so you can stop and come back.
