Splat Squad: First-Person Paint-Tag Arena

Splat Squad turns your study notes into a first-person paint-tag arena. Every match starts the same simple way: run around Paloona Park with a paint blaster, and every question you answer correctly refills your tank. Land a splat on a rival — bot or friend — and it counts toward the match; run dry and you can't fire again until you answer another question. There's no clock on the question itself: time freezes the moment your Reload Card opens, so you can read, think, and answer at your own pace before diving back into the action.

Three correct answers in a row loads your Super Blaster, a character-specific power like Pip the fox's three-blob Triple Splat or Maple the panda's slow, oversized Mega Blob — every one of the 8 playable critters has its own trick. Four are unlocked from the start; the other four open up as you play, from winning your first match to becoming Park Champion, so there's always a reason to run one more round.

Three ways to play cover every mood. Quick Match drops you into the park with five bots for a fast race to 10 splats. Splat League is the long game: beat all four rival squads — the Recess Rascals, the Wet Paint Crew, the Night Owls, and the Rainbow Royals — across four increasingly dazzling park skies to earn the Park Champion title. And Friends Room turns it social: host a game, share a six-character code or a QR, and friends join in on their own devices, with bots quietly filling any empty spots.

Nothing about Splat Squad punishes a wrong answer beyond the obvious: you don't refill your tank, so you'll want to try again. Getting splatted just means a short respawn with a few seconds of shield before you're back in the park, and every reload — solo or in a live match — gives you a safe, timer-free moment to think. It's built to reward knowing the material, not reflexes alone.
