Om Boss Raid

Boss Raid turns a classroom into a raid party. The teacher hosts the fight on the projector and picks the villain — Gloop the Slime King, Embermaw the Last Dragon, Krakos the kraken, or Gigavolt the Mecha Titan. Students join in seconds from any device by typing a six-letter code and a nickname. No student accounts, no installs.

Every player answers questions from the teacher's own study material at their own pace. Each correct answer fires a visible strike into the boss on the big screen, with the student's name on the hit. Fast correct answers can land critical hits, every strike fills a shared Class Charge that unleashes a super strike when full, and when the boss roars back, the next correct answer counters for double damage.

Unlike timed quiz games, Boss Raid has no countdowns and no eliminations. Nothing is lost by answering slowly — a careful reader's strikes count exactly like a fast one's. Wrong answers stay private on the student's own screen, show the correct answer, and quietly return later in the raid. The class cannot lose: the boss falls when all three health bars are emptied together.

After the victory, the teacher gets a class report showing the most-missed questions with their correct answers — ready to discuss while the material is fresh — plus a per-player strike table. Teachers without uploaded material can host instantly with the built-in sample question pack.

Short questions keep strikes flowing, and missed words quietly return for another attempt during the same raid.

Term-heavy material becomes shared firepower — every remembered definition visibly damages the boss.

Ofte stilte spørsmål

How do students join a Boss Raid?

The teacher hosts the raid and the projector shows a six-letter code. Students go to studyquest.app/join on any device, type the code and a nickname, and they are in. Students do not need accounts.

Is Boss Raid timed like Kahoot?

No. There are no countdowns and no per-question timers. Students answer at their own pace, and slow answers count exactly as much as fast ones. Fast correct answers can earn a critical hit bonus, but nothing is ever lost by reading carefully.

Can students see each other's mistakes?

No. The projector only ever shows hits. Wrong answers stay private on each student's own screen, show the correct answer, and return later in the raid for another try.

What does the teacher get at the end?

A class report showing where the class fought hardest — the most-missed questions with their correct answers — plus a per-player strike and accuracy table visible only to the host.

How many students can join, and what do I need?

A raid supports up to 60 players, and a teacher can even run it solo to test. You need one screen for the arena (a projector or shared screen) and any browser-capable device per student. No uploads yet? Host with the built-in sample questions.
